The NorCal Board members attended the League of California Cities Annual Conference and Expo in Sacramento, California, Sept. 22 and 23, 2021, to represent Sister Cities International and talk about the work of Sister Cities International. Board members in attendance included Bill Hinkle, George Saxton, Lee Guio and G. Preet Singh; Vallejo Sister City Representative, Hank Marshall; State Reps Brenda Brumfield-Ross and Starr Hurley. There were more than 150 exhibitors and hundreds of city/county officials from throughout California. We were able to contact representatives from various sister cities organizations and jurisdictions and exchange contact information. It was a very large convention and had many interesting events.
