Dear Northern California sister cities leaders,
Sister Cities International is coming to your state in a couple weeks!
I hope you can join us in person in San Jose on March 6-7 for our leadership meetings and special events. We have a special half-price registration rate of $75 for our local Northern California friends and will hold an in-person session for California sister cities programs on March 7. Here’s the schedule:
Friday, March 6, 2026
- 5–7 p.m. – San Jose Mayor’s Welcome Reception and Tribute to Tim Quigley (heavy apps and cash bar)
- Hosted by: The San Jose-Dublin Sister City group
Saturday, March 7, 2026
- Breakfast on your own
- 9 a.m. – State/Region/Country Reps meeting
- 11 a.m. – Special session with NorCal (NorCal is also welcome to come to the 9am meeting)
- Noon – Box lunch provided
- 12:45 p.m. – Sports as a Pillar of Youth Development, Healthy Communities, and Economic Vitality Panel hosted by past Olympian Tommy O’Hare (Super Bowl, NCAA basketball championship, FIFA), hear from Team San Jose, Sports Authority on their marketing plans!
- 2 p.m. – SCI Board Meeting
- 7 p.m. – San Jose Sharks Hockey Game (*Note the hockey game is not included in the $75 registration rate)
