The Jinan-Sacramento Sister Cities Corporation (JSSCC) 2026 Youth Ambassador Exchange Program is set for June 17-29, 2026, and will offer participants more than just a trip abroad. It focuses on leadership development, cultural diplomacy and global citizenship in action.

  • Beijing – Explore China’s capital through iconic landmarks such as the Great Wall and the Forbidden City, while gaining insight into the nation’s rich past and dynamic present.
  • Jinan – Deepen sister-city connections through student exchanges, cultural immersion, and visits to Shandong University and local high schools in Sacramento’s sister city since 1984.
  • Qufu – Visit the birthplace of Confucius and reflect on enduring values of philosophy, education, and leadership.
  • Qingdao – Experience a vibrant coastal city known for its scenic beauty, historic colonial architecture, and modern innovation.
  • Shanghai – Discover China’s global metropolis, where rich tradition meets cutting-edge development and the future of international commerce.
